Wow… There were so many reasons for the Seahawks to run the ball there and NOT do what they did. When they came out in the shotgun, I would've bet good money it was a read option. Thanks to that, nobody will ever remember this Chris Matthews guy that worked at Foot Something.

As I said it was good and just. That play that got them down there was one of the luckiest plays I've ever seen in football. Thank HEAVENS they didn't win the game because of that.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Good use of one of the stupidest Superbowl commercials ever.

Chris "Captain Obvious" Collinsworth must have said "I just can't believe that play call" about 25 times.

Yeah, but he said that the running into the punter call should have been a personal foul 26 times, so big deal.

This is the first time I remember cheering for NE.

The Rice slant was NOT the proper call there. The ONLY appropriate pass there would have been a fade...off play action. But the BEST call wasn't even back to Lynch. The time involved in a handoff could have allowed defensive penetration to stuff the play. The BEST play would have been a sneak off a quick count....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

The best call is a run (any kind) because Seattle should want to run the clock down a little if they don't score. I also couldn't believe NE didn't call a timeout after the previous play.

Congrats to the Pats... was a hell of a Superbowl. Shitty play call at the end, but it is what it is. Hawks will be back next year.

Pats, Steelers, Cowboys, Giants, 49ers, and Raiders' fans would like to have a word with you...

Darrell Bevell (seahawks OC) should be left in Arizona to become the newest person to apply for unemployment benefits. I can't believe that douche actually called that fuckin play. The 5th best rushing offense of all time and you don't run the ball in from the 1 on second down? GTFO now!

Other than that, one hell of a game! :thumb:

Don't forget Bob Costas telling us that "one of these teams will emerge the victor tonight".

Is there a John Madden school for FB announcing?

And even though Collinsworth is annoying I'd still rather listen to him than Joe Buck.

They didn't.

But I agree with Collingsworth that Seattle should've just run Lynch.
