Also, I believe they said tonight was the 13th time this season the Sox sent an opposing starter packing before 3 innings... the next highest mark is 6 times by Philly and the Yanks.UNHWildCats wrote:this offense is unstoppable.... you can only hope to contain them every so often.ODUalum11 wrote:You know the red sox are pretty good when even I'll admit.Scored 10+ runs against the padres...AGAIN.

Milwaukee is a really good team this year. If they can get into the playoffs they will be a very dangerous team, with the power hitting they have and the front end starting pitching.

Since 1996 39 teams have won atleast 44 of their first 72, games as Boston and Philadelphia have this season, of those 39 teams, 34 or 87% have made the playoffs.bluehenbillk wrote:No team that started 0-4 has ever won a WS. Better luck next year.

Since April 16th the Red Sox are 42-18 thats a .700 winning percent.... thats a pretty damn impressive hot streak... perhaps its not a hot streak.... maybe its just reality.JoltinJoe wrote:UNHWildCats wrote: this offense is unstoppable.... you can only hope to contain them every so often.![]()
Hot at the wrong time.
Since April 16 Boston is 6.5 games better than New York and 6 games better than Philadelphia.
Re: Chasing History - Red Sox strive for perfection
You have a 1.5 game lead after a streak like that. And we always own you after the All Star break.UNHWildCats wrote:Since April 16th the Red Sox are 42-18 thats a .700 winning percent.... thats a pretty damn impressive hot streak... perhaps its not a hot streak.... maybe its just reality.JoltinJoe wrote:

they took 2 of 3 from the yankees I think the 2nd week of the season so that helped them.UNHWildCats wrote:considering the hole they were in after their bad two week start and its very impressive.ODUalum11 wrote:
