Will history repeat itself in the Bruins-Flyers series?

Re: NHL
Considering that they actually only play at home on 1 of those days, May 7th, and I'll be out of town that weekend, I'll have to pass.93henfan wrote:Hey bandle, 89. If you have any interest let me know:

A Bolts-Canucks final would likely set the all-time lowest NHL TV rating. The Commish will lean on the refs to make sure that doesn't happen!bluehenbillk wrote:I'm with Ivy - going with a Flyers-Bolts East Final.

We're splitting up our two seats for the playoffs. I was going tomorrow but plans have just changed and I might be going Game 5.93henfan wrote:Hey bandle, 89. If you have any interest let me know:

Forget men's fashion, you ladies should be a lot more concerned about your team finding some defense.

Yeah the Caps and Flyers have as many losses as the Canucks in the second round.Grizalltheway wrote:Forget men's fashion, you ladies should be a lot more concerned about your team finding some defense.
BOOM!
That was really a double-OT heartbreaker tonight.

Indeed it was, BUT...they didn't let 7 goals slip by.93henfan wrote:Yeah the Caps and Flyers have as many losses as the Canucks in the second round.Grizalltheway wrote:Forget men's fashion, you ladies should be a lot more concerned about your team finding some defense.

Re: NHL
Didn't see the game winning goal but each team could have easily scored many more goals in the night game yesterday. Both goalies were on fire. Luongo has to be kicking himself for the goal that tied it up because he was absolutely brilliant up until then and Rinne became just as insane in OT.

Thankfully they're getting changed next year...no one knows what the hell they're going to look like, though.93henfan wrote:The Nashville Predators may have the ugliest uniforms in the NHL.
Anaheim is worse though. They took the two Pennsylvania teams colors, combined them, and forgot to design a logo...so it looks like a turd wrapped in shit with webbed footing. Absolute brilliance.
Florida's pipe-happy crap isn't far behind, but I don't think anyone has seen the Panthers play a game in person since 2002.

Yes?Grizalltheway wrote:Bandle? Random gsu dude who's a craps fan?
I watched both games...bummer. Tampa was the last team I wanted the Caps to face in this round cuz I know how good they are (Caps only finished 4 points ahead of them in the standings). I would have rather seen Pittsburgh. It's not over yet, just have to take it one game at a time. But the Caps have got to pick something up....perhaps a power play goal or two?
