Blood pressure now quickly rising. How much fucking time is left? How much stoppage time is included in that time? God this is the worst clock system in the history of the world.
And is this sudden death or do you play out the clock?

I am the guy that "soccer" should be trying to win over. I am a sports fan, have money, and have 2 young boys. But "Soccer" refuses to make the game easier to understand in favor of some sort of archaic tradition that only avid fans accept. "Soccer" is telling me that they don't want to lure American sports fans. That they are just fine on their own. That it is OK to stick with baseball, football, basketball, hockey, NASCAR, golf, and the X-games.Skjellyfetti wrote:CAA Flagship wrote:So after 90 minutes they add stoppage time. You watch an awful lot for someone that hates the sport so much.
I usually avoid watching sports I don't like... but, I guess that's just me.
You're really having a tough time with this forward clock and injury time concept, huh?CAA Flagship wrote:I am the guy that "soccer" should be trying to win over. I am fascinated with business decisions, both good and bad. This is like watching Miller spend 20 years of poor advertising while Bud Light kicked their ass. Like seeing how poorly built US cars held up against better built Jap and German cars. Like watching Coke introduce a different formulated Coke rather than a new and separate version. You get the idea. Poor decisions at the conference table can limit the success of the product. Soccer can be so much more popular in America with a few tweaks. But no......

But, way to make everything is about you.

Pay attention. In the knockout round there is extra over time. This is different from group sex play. But how many periods is it and how long is it? I know now but had no idea when I turned it on. That is a marketing problem. Covered in day 1 of 101.clenz wrote:What are they making difficult?CAA Flagship wrote: I am the guy that "soccer" should be trying to win over. The clock not counting backwards?
Stoppage time?
You know each half has 45 minutes, why does it matter if the clock counts up to 45 or down from 45? Are you that slow mentally that you can't look at a clock that reads 22:00 and know that there are 23:00 left in regulation time in the half?
Is it that hard to understand that, on average, each half will have 3-4 minutes of stoppage time? Occasionally it's more, occasionally it's less.
It's not hard to understand.
