That would help. Caps outplayed TB the entire game, they really don't need to do much different than get the puck on and in the net.bandl wrote:But the Caps have got to pick something up....perhaps a power play goal or two?

I just hope this ends better for the Bruins than last season.93henfan wrote:Props to Tim Thomas. Dude was money tonight. 8-0 all-time in Philadelphia.

Now now 89...Travis has always been a diehard hockey fan. He'll tell you that all day long as long as the Bruins are winning. But as soon as Philly makes a comeback in the series, you won't hear a peep out of him...
Anyways, Boston vs. Tampa Bay in the east finals will be BORING AS ALL F*CK!!!! The NHL needs to do something about this.
BTW, back to back games tonight and tomorrow night down in Tampa for the Caps....the Caps could get swept in record time if they don't score some PP goals!

Re: NHL
Flyers lose tonight & it's over, 3-0 isn't happening 2 years in a row. Gotta take some chances & crash the net more - gobble up rebounds. Otherwise, they're going to replay Briere not getting his stick on the puck with a wide open net as seconds ticked away at the end of Game 2's 3rd period all off-season.

Wings down 3-0 after another OT loss.
Re: NHL
Honestly....who would have thought that 3 of the 4 best teams (IMO) in the NHL would be down 3-0 or swept 4-0 in the second round of the playoffs???? Wow...just wow. At least the Caps weren't the only team to choke on their own shafts.

Certainly not me. I started getting a bad feeling in game 1 when Detroit missed a couple of good chances to go up 2-0. Then Bertuzzi takes a bad penalty, the Sharks tie it on the ensuing power play, and.........
