So, Peters is lost for the year with ACL/MCL tear.
Ugh. Gotta hope Vaitai can see 75% the effectiveness of Peters and that Seumalo, when he does see some reps, isn’t the complete disaster that got him benched at guard.
I think I know what position the Eagles are going to take with their one pick in the first three rounds next year.

I'm willing to bet that 3 or 4 posters on this board would voluntarily give Wentz a reacharound and a hummer if it meant the Eagles would win the NFC

They still have 3 4th round picks next year, in addition to their own first round pick - there could be a decent, long term OT you could take at the back end of the first round. Vaitai was a 5th round pick - you have to pick well in the later picks too if you're going to be long term successful in the NFL.93henfan wrote:So, Peters is lost for the year with ACL/MCL tear.

No, no, no. Yankees, Redskins, Devils, (no NBA).Chizzang wrote:Wait a second... just one damned minute... whoa!

The early 70's were lean years for the Giants, Jets, and Eagles. I was enamored by the "Over the Hill Gang".

I hope Grizza started Ertz again. Ertz is a fantasy godsend at TE this season.
Another Eagles game, another Ertz TD pass.
In other news, looks like the Birds are finally overcoming a very flat start late in the first half. Rainy day, bad opponent does that.

Nick Foles gets some regular season snaps as Wentz takes off most of the fourth quarter of a laugher.
First half of the schedule complete: 7-1.

Suggested Wentz to the promoter, for an autograph guest for the April Minnesota Sports Collectible Show.

Figure if we can go no worse than 5-3 the rest of the way then we wrap up not only the NFC East but have a real good shot at the overall top seed in the NFC. 6-2 would almost lock up the NFC. Still have that tough @ Seattle and @ LA Rams back to back 2 weeks (Eagles are staying in CA after the Seattle game), and still have both games against the Cowboys plus a trip to NY to play the Giants (I think the Giants suck, but a road divisional game is still a road divisional game). Gotta beat the Broncos at home this week, gotta beat the Bears at home at the end of November (I'm going to that one so they really have to win), and they have to beat a limping Raiders team at home on Christmas night. Split the series with the Cowboys and we're there.93henfan wrote:Nick Foles gets some regular season snaps as Wentz takes off most of the fourth quarter of a laugher.

And playing any of those teams, including Seattle, in Philly, and I like the Eagles chances. Got to keep taking care of business to make that a reality.Chizzang wrote:With Aaron Rogers on the sofa... It'll just be Seattle standing in the way come playoff timeGannonFan wrote:
