Like I'm gonna read the half page posts from a drunk ass indian.
"What I'm saying is: You might have taken care of your wolf problem, but everyone around town is going to think of you as the crazy son of a bitch who bought land mines to get rid of wolves."
So we go from Indians to African Americans? In my opinion, if they cant have anything linking themselves to Indians, African Americans should be off limits as well. And why do we need to appease African Americans?

This is the likely winner. They've been talking about it for months. It appeases negroes and allows them to keep the same fight song with only changing one syllable.
Granted, it's a stupid **** team name, but if you can appease negroes and keep your fight song. Kind of winning, no?
He like using the word Negro
Hes a skinny ass white guy with no balls.................lol

I love me some negroes.
And you're way off. I'm thick and have balls of steel.
Interesting article in the Chicago Tribune on the issue and comparing the differences between the Blackhawks and the Redskins.
Team nicknames should reflect respect
Blackhawks and Redskins truly are in different leagues in relating to Native Americans http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/fo ... 517.column" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
"Daniel Snyder should take a lesson in cultural sensitivity training from the Chicago Blackhawks.''
...
The Blackhawks pay homage to an individual. The Redskins nickname essentially honors dishonor.
"There is a consensus among us that there's a huge distinction between a sports team called the Redskins depicting native people as red, screaming, ignorant savages and a group like the Blackhawks honoring Black Hawk, a true Illinois historical figure,'' Sypolt said. "The Blackhawks take initiative, get involved and show through actions they care.''
One day, Blackhawks officials realize the ripple effect from whatever happens with the Redskins could result in difficult discussions about their cherished Indianhead. Until that inevitability arrives, the team will continue to help fund restoration of The Eternal Indian statue and attend powwows amid efforts to educate themselves and their fans better about a nickname rooted in pride, not shame.

You guys have had your entire lifetimes to
get ache-y vaginas over the Redskins name... now you jump on the bandwagon like Costas because it's the latest intellectual fad. I hope they leave the name as is if for no other reason than to give you clowns an itch you can't scratch.1
