Not really in disagreement, just the one thing bolded about the schedule. With the current format, teams in the same division play 14 of the same teams in a 16 game schedule, so only two games (the ones against a team from each of the other two divisions that they are not playing a full division slate against) are ever different. Sure, the first place team in the prior year gets to face the first place team in the other division from the prior year, but given how much turnover there is in division winners that rarely holds up as a reliable adder to toughness of the schedule.
The Packers have a gamebreaker in their WR core JEFF JANIS but they refuse to take advantage of his obvious talent of course one person will not a team make but hey give the guy the opportunity to showcase his skills if he were with any other team he would be a household name already. The game that put him on the NFL map was the 2015 playoff game vs Arizona in which he caught 7 passes gained 145 yds scored twice!!!
Uh, no. Janis sucks

47 career games 15 catches for 188 yards

Basically, that one playoff game is literally all 47 of his regular season games combined.

Uh, no. There are 3 or 4 QBs that make WRs out of nothing - Brady, Brees, P. Manning and Rodgers.

If you aren't getting numbers with Rodgers you aren't going to get them anywhere else.

He's a terrible route runner. Literally the only thing he can do is run a fly route. He's not Randy Moss so that doesn't work. He also doesn't hand catch. The ball gets into his pads. That doesn't work.

He's been targeted 33 times in his career with just 15 catches. That's a horrid rate. It's a 45% catch rate. This season alone there are over 100 players at 60% or higher. Per ProFootballTalk over 60% of the league has a catch rate over 55%. Janis at 45% put's him in the bottom 10%

2016 he was targeted 19 times with 5 drops. 5 drops last year is good for 16th most drops in the league. Other guys with 5 drops?

Julian Edelman - but he had 98 receptions
Ted Ginn jr - who had 54 recpetions
Davante Adams - a teammate of his...who had 75 cathches
LeVeon Bell - 75 catches
Tyrell Williams - 69 receptions

He dropped this pass
Image

Dude can't catch.
Dude can't run a route

He's a Sunday League version of Randy Moss. That's not a compliment.

Ain't that the truth ^ right there...
Rogers puts the ball right on you like a 40 yard hand off
He's proven to be historically good at that compared to anybody playing that position in NFL history
and that is NOT an exaggeration

Guys like Randall Cobb anywhere else in the NFL except New England and New Orleans is a NOBODY

Cobb has made a career out of being handed the ball 20 yards down field by Rogers

Pretty obvious!

Vikings on the other had have good receivers, making the QB look better than he has with other teams.

I'll agree but also...
Keenum was pretty damn good in Texas considering he had NOTHING to work with
I feel like Texas let him go way (way) too early

During his 2 years in Texas PFF had their offensive line ranked near the bottom
and their receiving group near the bottom

The man has talent

It's going to be in intersting off season for the VIkings. Bradford, Teddy and Case are all free agents. Sam is gone but the other two? Case is going to get paid. His W/L record was bad, but look at the teams he was on. He played pretty well based on what was around him. For his career he's completed 62% of his passes, thrown for 8,000 yards 40 TD. His sack rate in Minnesota is 20% His sack percent his first 5 years in Houston and STL/LA? 6%. He couldn't get an OL to keep him upright.

Look at Goff as well. Both Keenum and Goff were with Jeff Fisher last year. Fisher is the ultimate proof the NFL refuses to try something new and will recycle mediocrity. They are both free of Fisher this year and look at the years they are having. Keenum is completing 68% of his passes, better than 3:1 TD:INT, on pace for over 4,000 yards and nearly 40 TD. Goff is at 63% on pace for 4,300 yards 30 TD.

Let's not act like the Vikings have had all world WRs over the last decade either. The Vikings are led by an undrafted D2 walk on, a 6' tall 5th rounder, and possibly the slowest TE in the NFL right now.

Theilen is the first 1,000 yard receiver since Sidney Rice in 09

Other WRs the Vikings have leaned heavily on since that season by Rice
Jarius Wright
Cordarrell Patterson
Charles Johnson
Greg Jennings
Chase Ford
Jerome Simpson
Joe Webb
Michael Jenkins
Devin Aromashodu
Stephen Burton
Greg Camarillo
Emmanuel Arceneaux
Hank Baskett
Bernard Parrian
Juaquin Iglesia
Greg Lewis
Jeff Dugan

Yep...clearly top level WRs making our QBs look better. Maybe if we had better WRs guys like Ponder, Webb, Cassel, Freeman, McNabb, etc... would have been better

Keenum is worth keeping... He's good in the pocket
having a few years of crappy protection has really sped up his game
3 years $21 Mil will do the trick

and that will allow them to re-sign Bridgwater or let him walk

Nice loss for the Saints last night. Just need Vikings and Rams losses and it’ll be a perfect weekend.

If you can't beat the falcons right now you're not going anywhere in the playoffs...
It's basically double Julio Jones and stop the run sweeps and play 3 deep zone on third and long

Done...

The Falcons do not scare anybody that is a real playoff caliber team

How many other Packer WRs have dropped key passes from Rodgers but yet unstill he comes back to then on the next play case and point Adams vs Detroit he dropped a key TD pass on a slant route if DROPVANTE had caught that ball he was gone.Randall Cobb,Jordy Nelson dropped key passes vs Chicago last year but Rodgers still went back to them on other plays throughout the game even in the NFC title game@Atlanta they were dropping balls!!!!!And when it comes to route running the fly route worked pretty well for Moss while in New England&Minnesota ppl knew what they were getting from him and did not complain. He (Janis)caught a deep pass from Rodgers@San Diego in his rookie year.

Packers hang on by the skin of their teeth. Now we'll see if Rodgers is healthy enough to play or not.

Down goes Wentz.

Welcome to the world of playing with a back up QB. Actually Minnesota is on its 4th QB in 2 years but semantics.

Foles came from behind to win with some pinpoint passing to Aghalor on the last drive. Sure, losing Wentz is a big loss, but there are worse backups to be had than Foles.

I also reflect on the fact that Jim Plunkett, Jeff Hostetler, Mark Rypien, and Trent Dilfer have won Super Bowls (and if you listen to Chizwold, even Joe Flacco).

It was thoroughly enjoyable watching the Vikings lose though. Eagles clinch a first round bye with a win over the Giants on Sunday. Good luck to the Vikings.

I wouldn't lump Plunkett in with the rest. He was a decent QB once he got out of NE, and won 2 rings. Beat the Eagles and Redskins.

Couple Vikings season ticket holders sold their Super Bowl tickets over the weekend. Paid $200 each, got $17,000 each, for nose bleeds. At least that's what they told me.

An article about attendance. Breitbart is such crap - Bank of America stadium has a 73,778 and yesterday the stadium was damn near full. According to this website, https://www.pro-football-reference.com/ ... ndance.htm, 73.728 fans were there.

FirstEnergy has a capacity of 73,200 - and 67k people showed up yesterday.
Paul Brown - 65k capcacity with 52k in the stands.
