Ask the Patriots that were on that team if they would have rather finished finished the regular season 14-2 or 15-1 but won the title or gone undefeated but lose the title.UNHWildCats wrote:Who cares if you dont complete the historical journey, but you go down fighting while trying.clenz wrote: Ask the Patriots where going undefeated during the regular season got them....![]()

Losing the Super Bowl had nothing to do with going 16-0. Would they trade a win in the regular season for the Super Bowl loss? Sure, but it still had nothing to do with losing the Super Bowl.clenz wrote:Ask the Patriots that were on that team if they would have rather finished finished the regular season 14-2 or 15-1 but won the title or gone undefeated but lose the title.UNHWildCats wrote: Who cares if you dont complete the historical journey, but you go down fighting while trying.

That's why I picked up McNabb in the 9th-11th round of my draft as my backup... he only fell that late (I think) because I'm in a league with a bunch of Redskins fans who projected McNabb would be injured the first week. They were right about the injury, but not the rest of the season (especially week 16 when I benched Manning). Also nabbed Celek off waivers and got Jackson as my 4th wide out in the draft.

Who cares if you lose during the season or not? I don't care if my team gets in with a 9-7 or 8-8 wild card birth, if they win the super bowl, who gives a shit what their record was.UNHWildCats wrote:Losing the Super Bowl had nothing to do with going 16-0.
