I used to have season ticket to the Lancers, when I lived in Omaha. Now that I'm in the State of Hockey, I've been spoiled. With the possibility of moving to San Francisco on the horizon, the Sharks might be the only game in town.JayJ79 wrote:I didn't even realize that there was a team from Youngstown in the USHL.clenz wrote:at a waterloo blackhawks vs youngstown game

As for sporting events that I watched,
I caught the second half of the UNI @ Drake WBB game on tv tonight.

I checked last years standings and didn't see them there. Looked at the board at Young Arena and apparently Team USA (they really suck I don't know who or what the team is honestly, they are in last place tied with Youngstown) and Youngstown were added to the East Division.JayJ79 wrote:I didn't even realize that there was a team from Youngstown in the USHL.clenz wrote:at a waterloo blackhawks vs youngstown game

Was watching Drake vs. Wichita State basketball game. Now I'll put on the East West shrine game...or find a better basketball game
Re: What Sports Event are you watching?
Take that back, Michigan has a basketball game on so I'll tune in to that.

6 Feb will see me at Roseville Roller King watching Central Coast (San Luis Obispo) at the Sacred City Sacrificers, followed by the Contra Costa Undead Betties at the Sacred City Disciples.
I just LOVE roller derby! The Mathemortician rules!!!

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Re: What Sports Event are you watching?
Yesterday I watched my son's HS wrestling team (Owen J . Roberts) beat Upper Perkiomen 39-25. My son pinned his opponent to give us a 19-3 lead
.
It's the first time we've beaten them since 1991.
In 2006 Upper Perk beat OJR 63-0 and won the PA state championship. I wasn't sure we'd ever beat them.

Queens vs Aints, after the last tackle, it may be Brent Farvra's last game
