I didn't even realize that there was a team from Youngstown in the USHL.
(obviously I haven't paid much attention to the league this season)

As for sporting events that I watched,
I caught the second half of the UNI @ Drake WBB game on tv tonight.

I used to have season ticket to the Lancers, when I lived in Omaha. Now that I'm in the State of Hockey, I've been spoiled. With the possibility of moving to San Francisco on the horizon, the Sharks might be the only game in town.

I checked last years standings and didn't see them there. Looked at the board at Young Arena and apparently Team USA (they really suck I don't know who or what the team is honestly, they are in last place tied with Youngstown) and Youngstown were added to the East Division.

6 Feb will see me at Roseville Roller King watching Central Coast (San Luis Obispo) at the Sacred City Sacrificers, followed by the Contra Costa Undead Betties at the Sacred City Disciples.

I just LOVE roller derby! The Mathemortician rules!!!

Yesterday I watched my son's HS wrestling team (Owen J . Roberts) beat Upper Perkiomen 39-25. My son pinned his opponent to give us a 19-3 lead .

It's the first time we've beaten them since 1991.

In 2006 Upper Perk beat OJR 63-0 and won the PA state championship. I wasn't sure we'd ever beat them.
