Viking failure
When was the last time 2 #1 seeds were in the Super Bowl
I think the Colts will win but I'll be rooting for the Saints

From the NFL rule book
7. Any forward pass becomes incomplete and ball is dead if:
(a) Pass hits the ground or goes out of bounds.
(b) Pass hits the goal post or the crossbar of either team.
(c) Pass is caught by offensive player after touching ineligible receiver.
(d) An illegal pass is caught by an offensive player.

It was a catch. His hand was under the ball. It was reviewed, and not changed. You'll get over it eventually.clenz wrote:When did the fucking rule change to allow the fucking ball to hit the mother fucking ground and allow the stupid piece of fucking shit to trap the fucking ball and it be a fucking catch.

Or maybe you won't...I still have nightmares about the phantom "holding" call against the Seahawks in their Super Bowl.Thumper 76 wrote:It was a catch. His hand was under the ball. I'm a diehard Hawks fan. I think I know how you're feeling right now. Unfortunately, I also know how Chad feels right now with BS calls. The Hawks got way too much bidness from the Zebras in that one.Craneac Cowboy wrote:AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Glad to see the Saints win. I'm a Panthers fan, but Drew Brees is great. Glad to see him get a shot at the SB after being dumped by the Chargers for that douchebag Rivers. Whichever team won this game, I was pulling for in the SB...because Manning is the ultimate douche.
Appalachian State Mountaineers:
National Champions: 2005, 2006, and 2007
Southern Conference Champions: 1986, 1987, 1991, 1995, 1999, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2012
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! WE'RE GONNA SHOUT IT! NOTHING'S HOTTER THAN A-S-U!

Re: A Very Who Dat Day
well when my teams get knocked out i usually pull for the underdogs because i know what it feels like to lose. yeah so LSU has had recent success in the national rankings with baseball and football. Mcneese usually just wins the conference championship. the hornets make the playoffs.......................... i promise yall if there was a question on the U.S. Census just for Louisiana people saying "who would you rather seen win their league... LSU, Hornets, Saints, and list all the other colleges" majority would say Saints. no LSU national championship means more than the saints winning the NFC championship!
now we like the Manning family but fuck that the gloves are already on... we dont care if your entire family is new orleans true. its about US

Congrats to the Saints
Now you need to win the Super Bowls, cause nobody cares about the loser, aka Minnesota & Buffalo.

Any remember the late 80's/90 when the Cowgirls sucked horribly? You couldn't find more than 1 or 2 Cowbitch fans. Then they went on their SB run and everyone and their grandma was a fan. Fast forward 20 years. 3 or 4 years ago you couldn't find more than 1 or 2 Saints fans. Now they are EVERYWHERE.
Nothing better than bandwagon fans...
BTW, the bandwagon fans know who they are, this is not a knock on those who appear to be the faithful (like Craneac Cowboy)

you don't have to look back that far, all you have to do is look at the Clint Stoerner/Anthony Wright days.bandl wrote:Any remember the late 80's/90 when the Cowgirls sucked horribly? Re: A Very Who Dat Day
its hard to be loyal to something that sucks... really it is. my uncle has had season tickets to LSU football games since like 1975? and i started going to LSU games starting in 1992 / 1993... so i was really exposed to LSU football more than Saints bc we always had tickets. yeah there were tickets availible to saints games but how is a 10 year old suppose to buy saints tickets? hahaha i remember going to games but i also remember watching the evening news on sunday nights "Saints lose to Atlanta 44-10" or some shit like that
i dont want to call em bandwagoners but i mean we all saints fans so screw it hahahah

Re: A Very Who Dat Day
I put it this way, nobody gets on the train at the same time, my issue is with those that jumped on at 8-0 and proceeded to damn near jumpoff every time a game was close. Even though the Saints aren't my team, I grew up with enough bad memories from Flipper Anderson gaining over 300 yards receiving to watching the Saints be the only team to start their scab QB after the strike to 44-10 against the Vikes in 1988 to the Jacksonville lateral/missed xp game. Having the Saints nearby afforded me the opportunity to go to my first NFL game. I'm happy for anybody that sat through all of that mess, the new fans i don't care about them.

it's really crazy seeing the scene. I've witnessed the Rays making the World Series, Prairie View winning the SWAC, and now the Saints making the Super Bowl i don't know if I can take much more.

Re: A Very Who Dat Day
hahahaha PV A&M won the swac this year!? i thought i saw them ranked?!
the difference between the rays and saints is the wait time and the name change. if thats one good thing about the saints we have had minimal uniform changes and color changes
the then devil rays looked like a bunch of gay pride animals... not that theres anything wrong with it i just thought it was gay hahahahah
