Hannah Kearney wins the Gold in Ladies Freestyle Moguls.
Thank you South Korea.
That was funny as hell. Way to screw themselves out of a medal sweep.

Why is GLAD not protesting the animals rights activists that attacked the gay US figure skater for wearing fur costumes? I mean if that doesnt have hate crime written on it I dont know what does. The one chance we have for hate crime legislation to actually benefit other instead of the special treatment a select group of people and it is just going to waste.

GLAD terrorizes everyone else with their protests and character assassination........kind of disappointed in their inconsistency.

I hope he loses because he caved to the animal rights terrorists.

Yes, Mr. Hitler just rolled over in his grave.

Same thought I had..."this would've been a hit in 1936 Berlin".

Nice to see at least one American make it down the slope in the men's moguls finals. Actually, I thought there were 4 americans, but I only saw the bronze run and two guys loose control and biff.

Takes a bit (of ADHD) to get used to watching this on NBC. 2 luge runs, now to moguls, here's some figure-skating, now an interview with a snowboarder, here we are back on the skating rink, now its time for the French champion to mogul, hey did you hear a luger died?, now to the final skate by a South Korean who defected to Russia. :?

There is SomonE who would remind you that the rest of the world count by gold medals first so we're not leading. :coffee:

However, it's good to be leading the medal count so far.

If they keep adding sports that the average pothead kid from a skiing village can excel at, the future looks good for the USA in the winter olympics. :thumb:

The Germans are good at anything requiring technology (bobsleds, luge).
The Chinese are good at things where you can forcefully separate a kid from their family at age three and drill them their entire lives (figure skating).
The various Scandinavian countries are really good at the cardiovascular events.
We seem to excel at anything where you can take a bong hit, throw on a snowboard, and say "whoa, gnarley". ;)
