Re: Surprise NFL Team of this year?
I have Harvin and kyle rudolph on my fantasy team, so I'll be rooting for at least those two players to do well!! Can't say the same about their defense. Kinda want them to suck so the Vikes have to pass often.

Surprise team. . . Can't think of any.
AFC: Patriots, Steelers, Texans, Chiefs, Broncos, Ravens
NFC: Saints, Packers, Cowboys, 49ers, Eagles, Lions

Does Detroit count as a surprise team? Because if so, I pick them. If not, give me the Colts.

I could see the Colts doing some damage. But their D is suspect, so Luck will have to dominate in order for them to have a change.

And still worse than 75% of the starters in the NFL...and I'd probably go 85% on that.Seahawks08 wrote:Let's wait and see on that. Benson is better than every option they had last year.

Re: Surprise NFL Team of this year?
I'd still bet Cam has a better career than RGIII or Luck. Bigger/better arm, more charisma, best size, and a system that fits him ideally. Little less accuracy than those two, but he has the advantage in most other categories. Luck is obviously a better above-the-shoulders guy than Cam, and maybe RG3 is too. But Cam has almost everything you could possibly want in a QB.Grizalltheway wrote:Holy shit, RGIII is a beast. Cam who?
Not saying that Luck and RG3 won't be great, but among 1st- and 2nd-year QB's, it's Cam, then everyone else.

Yeah, well, let's see how Luck and Griffin look after their first seasons. Not really fair to compare them right now.rkwittem wrote:I'd still bet Cam has a better career than RGIII or Luck. Over the last 9 regular season games, what team has the best record?

Re: Surprise NFL Team of this year?
BTW, it seems the Cards are 7-2 over their last 9 going back to last year... so are the Eagles. And the Eagles are on a 6 game winning streak, the Cards only 3.

Re: Surprise NFL Team of this year?
I guess the real question for the Eagles is "which week does Vick get injured?"
