What a gag job in DC. Nobody would've thought a group could perform worse than Congress in that town before last night. Up 6-zip & then down to the last strike, just wow.
In what became a definition of bandwagon in the past few weeks/months, the two dozen hardcore Nats fans this morning have surgery scheduled for broken ankles. Maybe they shouldn't have cut Brad Lidge? Worst choke in a series deciding game in any sport I can remember, can anyone top that?

Been a long time since I picked 4 out of 4. Still would have been different to see Wash and Balt win.

We'll never know what the Nats pitching order would have been. Either way, Strasburg could have helped. Maybe he wins a game earlier in the series and there is no game 5.89Hen wrote:Seahawks08 wrote:soooo...the nats lose in the nlds...game 5 no less. Gio was the ace of the staff. How would this game been any different with Strasburg pitching?

Re: LDS Winners
I'm assuming gio/strasburg would go game 1/2 then 4/5. Maybe if the Nats had any idea what they were doing, they would have lessened the workload during the season aka skipping starts like what the White Sox did with Sale.Gio was the ace of the staff. How would this game been any different with Strasburg pitching?
