No.

There is only 1 great back in the NFL.

The rest are serviceable backs for 2 platoon systems. Why pay a RB first round money when you won't get first round production

Agreed. Figure that the Eagles picked up Shady, the only great back in the NFL as you say ;) , with the 53rd pick (that's 2nd round) of the draft.

Also weak yr for ILB. 6 LBs were taken 1st round, 5 OLb and only 1 ILB, which the Ravens took with the 17th pick in Bama ILB CJ Mosely. Last time the Ravens took an ILB in the 1st round was 96'- guy by the name of Ray Lewis...

How many picks would the FCS have at the end of the draft?

Fourth round is almost done, 7 FCS players drafted thus far.
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

20 of the teams don't have a single pick from I-AA. Yet 5 of the 19 I-AA players picked were by the Dolphins. 5 of their 8 picks. Don't think I've ever seen a team pick more than 2-3 from I-AA. Maybe they just more emphasis on finding non I-A talent?

I am pretty happy with the Bengal's draft.

6 of the 8 Dolphins picks were team captains. THAT'S the emphasis they were putting on it. They need to change the character of that dysfunctional clubhouse.

Jeff Janis WR from Saginaw Valley St was snatched by Green Bay if he were at a D1-AA school he would have been taken much higher imagine him playing with Garoppolo. He was D1-AA diamond in the rough that dropped down to D2.Again if these two were teammates at Eastern Illinois they would be unstoppable and Janis might have been looked upon as a possible late 1st round pick with that talent he has.

I think he was worth a gamble but according to everything I've read he's a huge "project". Straight line speed is apparently all he's got......we'll see if he can stick around a year, even on the practice squad. I hope so but we'll see..

So you don't think he has a legit shot why I know everyone has a weakness in their game that goes without saying.I think playing at Eastern Illinois they would have worked with him on route running and using his size to his advantage two of his biggest problems. He has legit 4.30 (40) speed that should keep him around on practice squad!!!!

What is your obsession for straight line 40 yard speed?

I've asked you this before but you never answer.

If that was the case Terrell Sinkfield would still be on a squad rather than cut by 4 teams in less than a month last fall

LSU had 9 players taken this time. You keep seeing all these LSU players drafted and it kind of makes you understand why their fans think they underachieve in spite of their relatively high level of success.

I realize that it's a necessary part of the game maybe this guy Sinkfield has a fear of going over the middle on slant routes!!!! I know that technique&courage plays a very important role in the development of WRs but so does speed.

Yes Denard is very physical the only thing that would have kept him from being taken in the first round was a lack of recovery speed but on his pro day at Michigan St he silenced all his doubters running a 4.44(40).
