Um...Sam was a 7th round pick. Per ESPN, of the 41 picks in the 7th round this season, only 22 made final rosters, and only four others made taxi squads. Another five were placed on IR, meaning their season is already done.

Sam wasn't alone, guys. Besides, I'm hearing a rumor that he might have an offer on the table from the Allouettes. Of course, this is a team that already has Ochocinco and was turned down by Tebow, so they're used to controversy. This COULD be a good fit...IF Sam can handle not only the different rules (DLs have to align a full yard off the ball) but the different culture in Canada. Guys do it all the time, though, so the learning curve shouldn't be TOO much....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Why should he have to keep it a secret?
They are paying him to help them win games not draw attention to what he does away from the field who knows he could have been drafted higher????

If Sam didn't make his sexuality a news story, then this would be talked about as much as Boyd or Shaw being cut from their teams.

I don't get why gays feel they must announce it to the world that they are gay. Why couldn't Sam have just come out to his family and that was it? What difference does it make if you come out in a televised press conference or to those that truly matter?

What did he do to draw attention to himself during camp?

Do you feel those with wives or girlfriends should hide that from the public?

She also said they regularly use the N word in that house...of course her english is awful so they could have just been making a Starbucks order. I'm sticking with the anti-homo/racist undertone. Makes for a better thread.

Is toilet cleaning a family profession?
