Chicken was number one. Chicken lost it—turned in his wings. Philly guys are number one.
So is the Phillie Phanatic Maverick and Gritty is Goose?

Philly doesn't often have championship teams, but we now get to claim the #1 and #2 mascots in all of sports. It ain't much, but we'll take it.

Truth be told, once the Phanatic got on the scene the Chicken was old news. He was good for basically the late 70's. He's the disco equivalent of mascots.

No doubt, but the competition was thin back then. I mean, he was world's better than Phil and Phyllis.

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Gritty accepts plea deal to implicate Phillie Phanatic on money laundering scheme
Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty – under investigation for allegedly punching a 13-year-old boy – has accepted a plea deal in which he gave up his friend Phillie Phanatic on a complicated money laundering scheme.
Has anyone heard from Dave Raymond?
