What was it like going to Philadelphia Athletics games when you were a kid? Or do you only seem that old?

"So many teams were in and out of the league in the early days." was the reason you gave why pre-Super Bowl championships shouldn't count. Why would that not apply to MLB? Because the term "World Series" dates further back even though the post-season was COMPLETELY different as recently as 1993 and 1968?
Well, they are a youtube channel, so it makes sense they would post a video.JohnStOnge wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 6:08 pm Good GRIEF just post a list followed by a "methods" narrative. I'm talking about the people that did it. We don't need to watch a video.

Same for football. From 1933 - 69 there were no teams in the NFL championship that don't exist today. So you may NOT resume and do not collect $200.AshevilleApp wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 5:09 amNo. The cities changed (Brooklyn to LA, NY Giants to San Francisco, Milwaukee to Atlanta), but the franchises have been around for a long time. You may resume.
Whichever. I don't really care and honestly didn't watch the video. But reading through the thread it seems like you missed the fact that Pwns claimed there was No recency bias in the compilation. Maybe that would change the analysis? Carry on.89Hen wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 4:21 pmSame for football. From 1933 - 69 there were no teams in the NFL championship that don't exist today. So you were just playing Cleets in that post. See Chizzy, this is what happens when it's acceptable to just post anything you want and pass it off as fact. We're going to have to change your name to Dr Lexus.AshevilleApp wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 3:34 amWhichever. I don't really care and honestly didn't watch the video. Maybe they were using meth instead of math to rank the teams.Chizzang wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 9:48 am They need to jig their weighting or scoring values...
You take all the stats you're gonna use then put the Yankees at number one and reverse engineer your system
The Yankees are number one by any metric
Any scoring system that finds the Yankees no. 2 isn't weighted correctly
The Yankees dominated 3 entirely different era's
at least these guys know their system is pretty close
but it is off a bit
Well they were pretty darn close...CAA Flagship wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 3:09 pmMaybe they were using meth instead of math to rank the teams.Chizzang wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 9:48 am They need to jig their weighting or scoring values...
