Not too much to add, subbing on New Jersey's Finest really changed the game for the Italians. Until then they had mostly been sending long balls into the box but the space Rossi had really stretched our D out and you could see them tiring out about the 60-65th minute.

I'm still not entirely certain that Jozy didn't embellish his PK, looking at it live it seemed as though the defender pulled him up and dropped him, but looking at it from the reverse angle I'm not so sure. That foul on Donovan should be have been a PK, it seemed like the ref didn't want to award two in the same game, which is BS - if you think it is, call it.

Feilhaber needs more playing time at his club, he certainly looked rusty. Bornstein showed nothing we didn't already know, good one game then poor the next, which is how Pearce got into the national team picture in the first place.

A good effort, but now with Clark out I'd hope Bob will put Torres in, who should have a much easier time with the skill of Brazil than the physicality Italy plays with.

Out of business, I highly doubt it has anything to do with being slow. They are always packed. I think it has more to do with Terry and his wife's relationship. Her dad is the one with all the money and who was the financier. Sucks because they were my favorite brewery within 100 miles.

I did, and it was just atrocious from the beginning. They are flat out not a good team.

Some random thoughts I had during the game:
Do they even practice together?
What the f&ck is their offensive strategy?
Do they know how to go to the ball-handler on defense instead of waiting for them to come to them?
Why do they insist on going for the long pass, which requires pinpoint precision, when they can't even master the short pass?
I wonder if they'll ever get through another game without allowing a goal in the first 7 minutes...nope, I guess not.
Donovan simply can't play with the big boys...he looks great against weak talent (read, MLS) but folds against good talent, except for PKs, but honestly if anyone on that team can't hit a PK they should be fired anyways
Beasley isn't even trying...oh, and thanks for just giving up after that failed corner kick
I would be embarassed to be Bradley, Jr., knowing that I suck and that the only reason I am on the USMNT is because my father is the coach; and he sucks, too

Man this team sucks. As said before even Egypt managed 3 goals on Brazil. The US managed 5 shots the whole game and not one on goal (though two hit the cross bar).

The US has only scored 1 or 2 goals in the last 4 games. The other 4 goals we scored were all PKs.

Just like the last World Cup this team has no offense and the defense blows.

The U.S. is not mathematically eliminated just yet. All the U.S. needs to do is to beat Egypt by 6 and hope Italy losses.
