If you're the Vikings, would you rather have Cousins or Teddy at QB now?

Totally deserves it. Doyle is on his fucking knees and stationary and Burfict leaves his feet and lowers his head for a helmet to helmet collision. Then he runs off after his ejection laughing and blowing kisses to the Indy crowd.

Love the unpaid suspension.

It's fun to troll Steelers fans by calling Burfict - James Harrison 2.0.

To be fair... (for what it's worth)
#29's primary responsibility is "double over" on OBJ on that side
to your point though he identified the run way (way) too late and then thought he was as fast as Chubb

Important note:
No. 6 Baker Mayfield on that play ran faster than any QB in the league this season also
at one point No. 6 reached 20.02 mph

The angle on that video doesn't show it but from the sideline it looked like Jones pulled up so that most of the momentum on that hit came from Allen. If you're going to penalize a player for a helmet to helmet hit it should have been on Allen. Every helmet to helmet hit is not the defender's fault.

The NFL still has this rule half-assed. There should be a penalty if you make helmet to helmet contact (even if your head is up) if your arms are in front of you and not attempting to wrap your arms. The object is to bring the guy to the ground. This has been a huge pet peeve of mine for a couple of decades now. The arms are the key. If you attempt to wrap your arms, it is harder to hit with the crown of your helmet.

If Allen initiated the helmet to helmet contact, who should be penalized?

It's not Allen. If the person with the ball initiates it, then all bets are off, unless there was an attempt to deliver a forearm like Jones did. Where was Jones' attempt to "bring him down"?

I'm not sure it's that clear cut that Jones initiated the helmet to helmet contact.

Brutal to watch. Jonathan Jones with a head to head hit on Josh Allen. Allen to the locker room.
From this angle it looks like Jones is trying to pull his head back and lead with his shoulder and Allen is the one who is dropping his head.

With Cam out the past 2 games, the Panthers have gone 2-0 with Kyle Allen. Even with 3 fumbles against the Texans, Kyle threw for 230+ yds to win.

Cam just doesn’t have the heart in it. His MVP year was his last, good year.

Got paid... all set, life is good
His athletic wear contracts are worth more than any football contract he'll ever get offered again

Remember Flacco and Newton both cashed in big
Flaccos payout was $62 million in the first three years of his deal
Newtons three-year payout was $67.6 million

They both understand they ain't taking anybody to the Superbowl
and they both have been pretty dinged up so now it's time to relax a little bit

So actually underpaid since several of the ones in front of him are from the 70's - 90's.

And I'm not really sure to what you're referring...

1. Eli Manning, QB — $252.3 million
2. Peyton Manning, QB — $248.7 million
3. Drew Brees, QB — $244.7 million
4. Tom Brady, QB — $235.2 million
5. Ben Roethlisberger, QB — $232.3 million
6. Matt Ryan, QB — $223.5 million
7. Aaron Rodgers, QB — $219.0 million
8. Philip Rivers, QB — $218.9 million
9. Matthew Stafford, QB — $197.8 million
10. Larry Fitzgerald, WR — $174.5 million
11. Carson Palmer, QB — $174.1 million
12. Joe Flacco, QB — $166.3 million

Are you talking about 2019 Flacco? If you're talking heyday...

Terry Bradshaw
Ben Roethlisberger
Donovan McNabb
Jim Plunkett
Eli Manning
Russell Wilson

for sure. Others maybe.
