I prefer the lighter blue, love the sleeve patch and the stipes on the jerseys. More of an old school look IMO.

edit: and it's closer to the RCAF colors and feel.

Hopefully Jagr has something left in the tank. I'm not a huge fan of the move. I hope he exceeds my expectations.

I wonder if Chris Therien will come out of retirement just to face Jagr. Therien was an average to above average defender, but he played like a HOF'er against Jagr.

BTW, the Islanders got turned down by Nassau County voters to issue a bond to build a new arena. Look for the Isles to move after the 2015 season if they don't figure out a way to get new digs. They will still probably stay in the NYC area, but maybe move into Brooklyn.
