You realize that there is a middle ground, right? We are best in CONCACAF and can have won the Gold Cup.

CONCACAF is the equivalent to MEAC in I-AA.

Depth wise, I would put the Federation rankings like this:
UEFA (Europe)
CONMEBOL (South America)
CONCACAF (North and Central America)
CAF (Africa)
AFC (Asia)
OFC (Oceania)

UEFA and CONMEBOL are well ahead of everyone else and CONCACAF and CAF are close but CONCACAF has been better (traditionally more teams out of the group stage) with AFC slightly behind and another big drop to OFC.

Donovan has to be better than that blowhard Wynalda. I don't even know if he is announcing games at the World Cup, but if he is I will be putting the TV on mute like I always do. He just ruins it for me. As does Alexi Lalas.
