Although, there is still a smattering of Redskin fans on the peninsula. Eastern Shore MD is heavily Ravens fans, and Delaware is heavily Eagles fans, but the Skins are probably #2 in both places.

If Fed Ex had a problem with the name 'Redskins', then why did they sign a contract for the naming rights to the stadium?

They signed the contract in '98. It was a completely different era and I'd be surprised if the same execs are still at FedEx.

They still don't have a problem with it. They just don't want to have to deal with all the loud-mouthed spoiled millennials who are now being triggered by the liberal media.

It's a simple matter of convenience.

We now live in a squeakiest wheel gets the oil society, which is not really what the Founders intended. They thought future Americans would have some balls past 200 years into the future, and they were wrong.

FedEx probably regrets ever putting their name on that stadium. Franchise has been awful over the entire time and the stadium is reviled due to its location and logistics. For a company that prides itself on logistics, the irony is rich.

I will say though, for a guy who can get to it as fast as I can Lincoln Financial, it's an easier ticket to get to see the Eagles play once a year.
