Well, that was meant as sarcasm. The fact is that it is hard to win anywhere if you are in the NFC East.GannonFan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 9:29 amYeah, crowd noise was brutal yesterday.CAA Flagship wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 6:41 am
It was just last year that Washington lead 17-0 in Philly only to blow the lead and lose. Hard to win on the road in the NFC East.![]()

By JMU’s Jimmy MorelandGannonFan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 6:06 amYeah, the Eagles looked like an incipient dumpster fire. The OL basically has nobody at this point, and Carson Wentz's inability to throw accurately really came back to bite the team yesterday. Up 17-0, Eagles had a chance to score before the half, and then get the football to start the second half. Everything was lined up for a runaway. But then Wentz badly throws behind a wide open Reagor and the ball is picked, and Washington rolls into half only down 17-7 and the Eagles never get the momentum back. Things could get really ugly really fast for the Eagles. They're still in a division that stinks, and the cowboys will still find a way to underachieve, but the Eagles might not even be good enough to take advantage of that kind of division again. Could be a long year - can't always draw too many things from just one week, but it doesn't look super at this point.

Re: NFL 2020 Season
My second year doing a NFL fantasy league. I really don't enjoy it, I just do it for something to do and keep me in touch with some folks. Last year I won two games all year.
This year I actually drafted a good team AFAICT. Projected to be 2nd in a 10 team league. Won the first week in a landslide and this week reminds me why I really don't care for this fantasy stuff. With two players left tonight I'm projected to have over 150 points and the second highest point total in the league. Only problem is I'm going to lose to the #1 point total.

Watching Tampa Bay yesterday and looking a Gronk...the dude is still partying. He looked like he woke up on the floor of a strip club, at their breakfast buffet then went to the game. I'm sure if you look closely, there was some glitter on his face. Athletically, yesterday was a better game for him.
I'm mainly watching Tampa this season to see if Brady is good without Belichek. Actually - is Cam better now that's he's a Patriot?

CBS must be loving this - got to have the Chiefs/Pats game moved to Monday primetime. That's a ratings winner right there.Col Hogan wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 10:52 am Pats-Chiefs game postponed “until Monday or Tuesday “ after Cam Newton and Chiefs practice squad QB both test positive for COVID.

Re: NFL 2020 Season
A Patriot player tested positive for COVID last Tuesday, so their practice facility was shut down and the Sunday game with Denver was pushed to Monday. The practice facility was reopened Saturday, and another player tested positive, so it was immediately shut down, and now the Monday game is moved a full week...

The Cowboys lose Dak Prescott to a horrible season ending injury, but Andy Dalton is ready to take over...This is why GOOD back-ups get paid great money...

The Cowboys will move forward, for now, with Dalton and seventh-round pick Ben DiNucci under center.

Hard to believe now, but Herbert's only scholarship opportunities were in the Big Sky (Portland State, Montana and I think Idaho). Ducks and Beavs both gave him a preferred walk-on opportunity, however. He went to the Ducks and the rest is history.DuckDuckGriz wrote: ↑Wed Oct 14, 2020 6:05 pm Justin Herbert's on his way to MVP of the 4-12 Los Angeles Chargers![]()

Thankfully he didn't show anything for the Lions last year and got cut from Detroit. And thankfully Green Bay only had him around for a week or so this summer before passing on him as well.CAA Flagship wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 9:01 am To Eagles fans:

Well the gushing over him is a way overdone. But if he came down with that Hail Mary at the end of the first half yesterday, a statue of him would replace Billy Penn on the top of City Hall.GannonFan wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 9:14 amThankfully he didn't show anything for the Lions last year and got cut from Detroit. He has average speed. Average hands. Average route running.
But he is a big body with above average leaping ability.
I said this many times: There are 2000 players on NFL teams. 500 are elite players. 1500 are somewhat interchangeable with the next 1500 guys that didn't make a roster. Fulgham is one of those 3000 players. Opportunity has knocked for him and he has answered thus far.

Hey, I think Fulgham is a player. He'll be a starting WR for the Eagles for quite awhile now, he can play.CAA Flagship wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 9:27 amWell the gushing over him is a way overdone.
