With Cam being placed on the IR, lot of Carolina fans are breathing a sigh of relief. Cam hasn’t played since week 2 and Kyle Allen has done an impressive job. A lot of people have been saying that they’re tuning into or going to the games now that Cam is out.

Of course there are plenty that are happy he's on IR so that he can recover and come back in 2020 to dominate the league. I don't see that happening. I think his best days are over. His MVP year, 2015, the year he went to the Super Bowl, was his last good year.

Some are saying (like ESPN) that he's done at Carolina. Carolina can save close to $20M if they cut him.

Pretty good weekend for Harvard alums in the NFL so far. Ben Braunecker (Bears) and Anthony Firkser (Titans) caught TD passes in their respective teams’ wins. Ageless QB Ryan Fitzpatrick led the Dolphins to their second straight win in upsetting the Colts. Fullback Kyle Juszczyk is expected to play for the Niners tonight.
