I liked when Rudolph got pushed to the ground by another Brown after the altercation and you can see him call the guy a "bitch".

Re: NFL 2019 Season
It is kind of a "bitch" move for a big lineman to knock over a little bitty QB. It's also kind of a "bitch" move for a QB to try and rip off a lineman's helmet which Rudolph did to Garrett after Garrett tackled him long after he'd thrown a pass. Garrett completely lost his cool and ripped off Rudolph's helmet and tried to brain him with it. Then Pouncey pulled a "bitch" move and punched and kicked Garrett while he was engaged with another DeCastro. There were "bitch" moves all over the place after that play.89Hen wrote:I liked when Rudolph got pushed to the ground by another Brown after the altercation and you can see him call the guy a "bitch".
Rudolph calling Garrett's helmet swinging "bush-league"is kind of ironic considering his trying to rip off Garrett's helmet is bush-league too.

Since 2000 the Browns are 5-29 vs. the Steelers
So there is some pent up hostility

Is the Brown's record vs anyone since 2000 not the potential source of pent up hostility? Heck, they're almost an AFC East team.Chizzang wrote:Since 2000 the Browns are 5-29 vs. the Steelers

Garrett is done for the year. I saw one report to the effect that the outburst could cost Garrett as much as $2.9 million in lost salary and signing bonus, before even considering fines.

Reports are that it looks like Rudolph tried to give him a shot to the groin at some point. Rudolph looks like a kid that starts a fight with his older brother and then calls for his parents when he's getting his azz kicked.

Not sure. I follow the Eagles. I know the Cowboys lost to the Jets and the Giants and Redskins are terrible teams.Chizzang wrote:Hows the NFC East doing against the AFC East in head to head93henfan wrote:

The point always stands though that the Patriots have played in a terrible division during their dynasty, and it has aided them greatly. That's all. Don't get butthurt about it.

I mean, everyone and their brother knows what I'm saying is right. Plus the Patriots cheat, so there's that as well.Chizzang wrote:The statistics don't support your claim93henfan wrote:

The Patriots are 4-0 in Super Bowls where they cheated and only 2-5 in Super Bowls where they weren't caught.
They're also 0-3 against the NFC East in Super Bowls.

NFL wins and Loss statistics do not support the claim that the NFC East is a cake walk
and didn't the Patriots beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl in 2004 ?

Sure did. They knew every play the Eagles called in the second half. That video signal stealing work was terrific.Chizzang wrote: didn't the Patriots beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl in 2004 ?

Isn't the claim that the AFC East is a cake walk for the Patriots every year? If so you would compare the AFC East record without including Patriots games to another division. You could exclude the other division's first place team as well.

It's all been done already...
If you do all the divisions and exclude the winningest team since realignment
the AFC East is the 2nd toughest division in the NFL
The statistics do not support the claim that the AFC is the weakest division
no matter how you slice it and dice it... it doesn't support that claim

Jezus...
Remove the Steelers from the AFC North

Remove the Colts from the AFC South
Almost every division has a clear winningest team since realignment
and when you remove them they do not have more wins than the AFC East without the Patriots

Rudolph is not small by any means he is 230 and he is going to be a little light in his wallet after his fight. Both teams will be fined $250,000.UNI88 wrote:It is kind of a "bitch" move for a big lineman to knock over a little bitty QB. They both acted like bitches.
Apparently Mason is from the town next to me, Rock Hill, and his friends and family have blown up social media and the news defending him.

Mason Rudolph isn’t even out for a game. I think suspending Garrett and Steelers C Maurkice Pouncey was pretty much automatic. All the same, I saw the offenses of Rudolph and Browns DT Larry Ogunjobi as not quite meriting suspensions on their own, but I’d understand suspensions given the circumstances. So I’d have been fine with suspending both, or not suspending either. But I thought it was a little unfair to suspend Ogunjobi and not Rudolph. And I think, for the league, it unnecessarily re-opens a can of worms regarding how quarterbacks are protected and defensive players are not. Just my opinion.

I have to agree, if Rudolph is not nut kicking and helmet grabbing the rest would not have happened.
