Game 1, Flyers tried to skate with the faster, more athletic Hawks, didn't work
Game 2, Flyers tried to come out and bully the hawks, didn't work.

What's the plan now? Hawks no production at all out of front line, if (when) they get going the Flyers are in trouble.

BTW, Pronger is a complete and total PUNK.

It's not like these were runaway wins for the Hawks - either game could've gone either way. Same will be said of the games coming up - not very much separates these two teams, and right now 2 goals and 2 games separate them. Not the runaway domination that we were led to believe would happen.

And Pronger's a hockey player - just like everyone else out there. It's a tough sport.

If the Hawks get to three wins before the Flyers get to two, I will be. The Boston Bruins the Hawks are not <spoken in my best Yoda voice>. Then again, the Hawks are not the juggernaut I was led to believe either.

Bottom line: The next two games are both must-wins for the Flyers.

Flyers have outplayed the Hawks in 4 of the 6 periods. Philly was the pre-season favorite of a lot of media types, while the Hawks are the Post-Season favorites. Hawks better step up if they plan on winning in Philly.

Hawks have yet to lose back to back games and match Philly's 7-1 home record with a 7-1 road record including 3-0 @ Vancouver and 2-0 @ San Jose. Should be good!!

Just about every expert was calling for a 6 or 7 game series, and alot of 'experts' like John Buccigross and Scott Burnside (ESPN) picked Philly, but I certainly dont remember ANYONE saying it would be a quick, lopsided series

I don't recall anyone saying it would be quick, 2 pretty darn good teams, Philly is finally healthy.

I grew up on Hockey Night in Canada with 4 Winnipeg TV stations and NBC for choices, this is hillarious.

3rd period of Game 3 will be the end of the road for the Flyers or it's a new series. I think the Flyers are outplaying them but, that 2nd Hawks goal off the weak Richards faceoff was a killer. Leighton has to stand on his head & the Flyers have to get the next goal!!!!!

It didn't look like there was much, if any deflection on the Hawks' second goal. Leighton was screened, but he still has to make that stop. Auntie Naomi is just playing better than Leighton and that's the story of the series. Otherwise, it's a pretty even series.
