I like the matchup with KC as well.
Go O's!

Highest payroll left in MLB post season, Giants are #6 and looking to continue their even year championship trend since 2010.

What a day yesterday.
Kershaw loses the lead that quick in the 7th.
Stay away from 89Hen today - he's going to have a bad Natitude.

No Freeway Series. No Beltway Series. There's still a possibility of an I-70 Series. God forbid that there is a Halloween Series with the orange and black Giants and Orioles.

Nah, I'm an O's fan now. Have to keep the DC tradition going of jumping ship.bluehenbillk wrote:Stay away from 89Hen today - he's going to have a bad Natitude.
Last night sucked, but I can't say I was surprised. Definitely liked our chances, but was worried about Gio. Turns out it was his fielding and not pitching that was the problem though.

Why would I have a bad NATitude? I didn't play in the game, I had absolutely zero influence on what happened. I worry about people who get all worked up about a game.Grizalltheway wrote:Hey, don't forget about bandle. That's a clown post, bro.bluehenbillk wrote:What a day yesterday.

I was hoping they'd win, but oh well. My urge to commit suicide passed with only minor cuts.

I'm close to swearing off sports. I easily watched parts of 100+ Nats regular season games... it's just too much wasted energy. My blood pressure was probably 250/150 last night watching the game. Do fans say in Boston know how good they have it?Grizalltheway wrote:Oh, sure. My teams' championships in my lifetime:
Eagles - none
Flyers - 1974 and 75
Phillies - 1980 (can't claim the last one since I jumped to Nats)
Nats - none
Caps - none
Guess it could be worse, could be a Cleveland fan.

What are the Hens, chopped liver? I definitely care more about UM winning championships than any of my pro teams.89Hen wrote:I'm close to swearing off sports. Re: 2014 MLB Post Season Thread
I was only talking pro. I will always be a Hens fan because I have actual roots there. Would be interesting to rank what I'd like to see more. I think Flyers cup would be #1 followed by Eagles SB. Hens already have a I-AA championship (two really). I'd like to see more, but the drought for the others is just so long.Grizalltheway wrote:What are the Hens, chopped liver? Re: 2014 MLB Post Season Thread
I feel for you hen, and consider myself lucky. As a Griz, Giants, and Packers fan I have seen my fair share of championships.
