Hey by the way... A Taxi driver in Glasgow told me that Aaron Rogers holds the NFL record for being sacked the most number of times in a game (7) and still winning the game...
So apparently 8 is the magic number of sacks from which there is no return...
Q: Name something that offends Republicans?
A: The actual teachings of Jesus

This is false. Dave Krieg was sacked 9 times by the Chiefs (7 by Derrick Thomas) in 1990 and still managed to throw the game-winning TD pass on the final play.
I don't know if that's the record, but it still disproves the taxi driver's claim.

Krieg is a super nice guy (met him at a celebrity golf event we were hosting) but he was a get-sacked/fumble machine.

Krieg at his best was a poor man's JOE MONTANA from a D3 school Milton(Wis)College.
Among his career statistics
Tarrell Owens also holds the distinction of being the most talented player in NFL history
to be frantically (see: Desperately) traded away mid-contract or outright released
More times and by teams that needed his talent... Than any other high caliber player in NFL history
