so the Pats are now on even ground with most other teams - getting screwed by bad calls, instead of always benefiting from them. I guess the NFL has decided the Tom Brady Era is over, and are moving on.

I'd rather watch the Ravens and the Steelers (with Duck) and the Chiefs with Mahomes
The Patriots are boring... I'll always be a fan
but there's too much fun stuff going on in the NFL for me to worry about the Patriots
they certainly don't need another ring

Carolina is racing towards to 5-game losing streak which they hope to extend to 6 this weekend.
Seahawks come to town this weekend and if my facebooks feed and water cooler talk is accurate - there won't be many people in attendance.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/282 ... ture-shootThe NFL is investigating an incident involving a Patriots video crew taping in the press box during Sunday's game between the Bengals and Browns in Cleveland, a source confirmed to ESPN's Dan Graziano...
Sources told ESPN's Dianna Russini that a Bengals employee was watching a videographer, who identified himself as a Robert Kraft employee. The Bengals employee alleges that the shot on the videographer's monitor was of the Bengals' coaches and staff on the sideline for the entire first quarter.
Sources told ESPN that the Bengals employee flagged media relations and Bengals security staff, then interviewed the Kraft videographer. That interview was also taped. The videographer asked if the footage could just be deleted and it could all be forgotten, according to sources.

Nope. This is obviously a smear campaign, a witch hunt, against the most successful team ever.93henfan wrote:https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/282 ... ture-shootThe NFL is investigating an incident involving a Patriots video crew taping in the press box during Sunday's game between the Bengals and Browns in Cleveland, a source confirmed to ESPN's Dan Graziano...

Re: NFL 2019 Season
For the "entire first quarter". I mean, if the Patriots hadn't already been caught red-handed (as an aside - is that a racist phrase, "red-handed"? sure sounds like it) doing the exact same thing during the course of their first 3 Super Bowls I guess this wouldn't be much of a story. But, given that the Patriots under Belichick will be known as perhaps the most prolific cheaters of all time, then yes, the Patriots video-taping the single worst team in the NFL to get a competitive advantage is indeed a story. The NFL sold their soul when they decided to destroy that entire vault Belichick had of ill-gotten video tapes.93henfan wrote:https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/282 ... ture-shootThe NFL is investigating an incident involving a Patriots video crew taping in the press box during Sunday's game between the Bengals and Browns in Cleveland, a source confirmed to ESPN's Dan Graziano...

if the NFL doesn't take a 1st rounder or two and fine the living piss out of Kraft they're on the take
this has got to stop...
I get that the defensive calls come in from a headset
but there can also be detailed information coming in by hand signal to the safeties or DB or LB groups
in 2007 Spygate was entertaining
in 2014 deflate gate was actually funny
but now its just getting ridiculous
If I were the NFL Commissioner I would take a first and a second (no day one draft for the Patriots)
and fine Kraft $5 Mil and the coaching staff $2 Mil

You're assuming that Roger Goodell has a spine.
I'm not sure that's a good assumption.

FoxSports aired Bengals video of the confrontation with the Patriots guys spying the Bengals' signals. Caught red-handed. Definitely have to hand down penalties to the Pats:
