EWU vs. Villanova, 2010 FCS Semifinals - ESPN2 under the lights against defending champs on the red turf, VU's Babarro ran back the opening kick, then EWU opened up a can of whoopass. (This would of course be replaced by the NC game vs Delaware, had I been able to afford the trip  )

2. EWU vs. Montana, 2010 - First game on the red turf, hadn't won in Cheney against the Griz in 20 years, spotted them a 14 point lead, and then an epic game ensued, topped off by Renard Williams scoop and score TD and storming the field... twice.

3. Seahawks vs. NY Giants, 2005 - First NFL game, 12th man caused an NFL record 12 false starts by the Giants. Season ended with the refs steelering away the SB from us. :ohno:

Honorable mention:

- Seahawks vs. SF Niners, 2010 - First regular season game in the Pete Carroll era, went with 3 friends, one of whom is a die hard Niner fan. We all painted up for the game. Nothing better than watching us give the Niners a beat down. 31-6!

-EWU @ Montana, 2005 - First time visiting the famed WA-Grizzly stadium, watched Payton Winner Erik Meyer shred the Griz for 400 yards or so in a 34-20 beating. Wasted the whole trip seems like.

-EWU vs. NDSU, 2010 - Douchebag fanbase coming all the way to Cheney to watch their team get torched by Taiwan Jones after talking shit about how they would shut him down. Back to back kickoff return TDs to start the 2nd half, blizzard, "The Drive," TD on first play of OT, Bill Fette.

-Spokane Shock vs. Tampa Bay, 2010 AFL Championship - First year in the AFL, Shock take the title.
That's a good list SE and it's tough for me to separate the NDSU, Nova, and Chipper although I think so much shit happened in the NDSU game (TJ going for 230 in the first half, then getting knocked out of the game, snow storm, cream tequila) that it actually might be the most memorable.

Honorables:

89 made a good call and watching my oldest sons first little guy wrestling match at age 5 got me a little teary eyed.

1997 PGA Championship at Sahalee - volunteered in the mornings on the driving range putting players nameplates behind their hitting station and picking up broken tees. You knew many of the players by sight by every once in awhile had to cheat and look for their name on the bag or ask the caddy. At one point I was about 20 feet behind Ernie, Tiger, and Omeara just watching them hit balls for an hour. Spent the afternoons drinking beer, sitting on the grass, and watching these same guys who seemingly didn't miss a shot on the range, where the ball flight was identical after almost every swing, hit it all over the yard on the course.

1986 Fred Meyer Challenge. Peter Jacobsen's non-official event where Jake hosts his famous clinic doing impressions of tour pros. The Stadler impression where he started by stuffing his shirt with a medium bucket of balls was terrific, and the Walrus who was in attendance couldn't stop laughing.

2004 BSC Tournament Championship game where EWU earned it's first and only trip to the dance.

* I went to the Vegas Nascar Race once but all I remember is free smokes and chew and a bunch of painted leather.
