I don't know exactly what I said with respect to your IQ vs. GW Bush's but I'm sure it had to do with the idea that if you know nothing else about a person you'd do well to bet that that their IQ is lower than GW Bush's. That's because based on GW Bush's known SAT score you'd estimate, based on the table at http://www.iqcomparisonsite.com/Pre1974SAT.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, that Bush's IQ is between 129 and 130. 129 would put him at the 97th percentile of the general population. Obviously if someone is around that level and you bet that they have a higher IQ than any particular individual you know nothing about you're going to be right most of the time.

With Cam Newton, sorry, but he's a high caliber athlete and he is Black. That brings in all sorts of considerations. One of them is that there is a possibility that he would never have been in college if he weren't a high caliber athlete. If you just take into the account the fact that he is Black the chances that a randomly selected Black has an IQ of 100 or higher is about 0.16. If you say you're going to randomly select a Black and bet that it's going to be someone with an IQ less than 100 you have about an 84% chance of being right.

I'm sure that changes some for Blacks that are NOT elite athletes and go to college. But when it comes to elite athletes all KINDS of accommodations are made to get them in.

Sorry. But it is what it is. There is absolutely no reason to believe that Cam Newton is particularly intelligent.

And he's a prick.
John, do you realize you are from one of the dumbest states in America? Don't judge people from other parts of the country based on what you have seen from your neighbors.
Don't argue! John has stats to prove his bigotry.

And the fields are hard to work without that free labor. :coffee:

I'm going with a big Panthers win...won't be as funny as JSO getting mud stomped in this thread though. All because he can't stand the thought of a black QB winning the SB. :ohno:

I'm not getting "mud stomped at all." Nobody's written anything to actually rebut what I wrote. But I'll help. All of a sudden I remembered that NFL players take the Wonderlic test when they come in. Newton scored 21. If you go to the Wonderlic site page at http://wonderlictestsample.com/how-does ... e-iq-test/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; you see this statement:
Unfortunately there’s no simple way to convert the Wonderlic score to a comparable IQ number as the tests are very different.
However, it also says:
Other intelligence tests such as the IQ test set the score for average intelligence at 100. The WPT uses 21 as its score for the average person.
Since he came out right at the average I think it's safe to say his IQ is right about 100. With that information I would not say he probably has an IQ below 100. He's somewhere right in that vicinity.

And he's a prick. And no, I'm not saying it just because he's Black. If a White guy acted like he does I'd say the White guy is a prick. And I do not, for example, think Russell Wilson is a prick. Maybe I would if I knew more about him. Maybe not. But in terms of just what I see while watching him during football games I haven't seen anything that makes me think, "that guy is a prick."

Speaking of pricks Johnny Manziel scored 32 on his Wunderlic. That kind of surprised me (http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/dish/20 ... arterbacks" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Yeah but he's a smart prick! If you look at that article I linked it says that the average Wunderlic score for the 31 quarterbacks projected to start in 2014 as of when the article was written was 29.4. The article at http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/04/johnny- ... -nfl-draft" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; says he scored the highest among quarterback prospects going into the NFL draft when he went.

Like I said it surprised me. Just goes to show that smart people can do stupid things and act in stupid ways.

Wonderlic, Schmunderlic. Ryan Fitzpatrick has the highest Wonderlic score of any NFL QB ever, but he couldn't get the Jets into the playoffs.

I'll take Newton on my fantasy squad. Thank you.

Here's how this works
and I'll explain it slowly so you can digest this easily

Because Washington has legal Marijuana and long before pot was legal it was decriminalized
The Police and various drug agents have focused on "Other drugs of more importance"
and when they do that - those "OTHER DRUGS" become more difficult to process and handle for criminals

Moving Marijuana aside and allowing drug agents and cops to focus on the real problem drugs
has a wide ranging effect on METH and COKE and HEROINE

So John, what it is it specifically that makes Newton a prick? I can guess, but I'd like to read it here. And is it worse than Favre running around with a TD sign after a touchdown? You've managed to deflect these questions pretty well. Pray tell.

I can answer this.
When he stands there, and looks into the crowd, and signals 1,2,3 and does the dab, that crosses over the line to prickville.
I'm OK with a quick dab. I'm OK with beginning it with the superman thing. But when it becomes a long production, you're a prick. Oh, and I almost forgot the cradle the baby thing. WTF?
But in all honesty, if that's the only thing he does (meaning no off-field bullshit - see Manziel) I can live with it.

Removing that from the table for almost 2 decades now in Washington has dramatically shifted Police focus

Trust me on this...
The Seattle Police are urged to actually "Leave people alone"
I know that sounds like a load of crap but back in 2002
there was a HUGE directive shift within the King Country Police Department
urged by the Local Government

More people are pulled over for tail light infractions
than stopped for smoking Pot on the street

I'm not disagreeing with you that the cops have been lenient on pot. I'm saying that I think they are also lenient on the other drugs too. If you take the percentage of "found" over "actual", I'm saying Oregon and Washington is way low compared to other states.
