I think you can safely say his postseason woes are over.dbackjon wrote:A-Rod with a clutch hit?Willie wrote:Yankees get solo shots out of Rodriguez and Posada and take a 2-1 lead.

what a complete shitter... Nick Punto makes 4 million a year to suck like that...
I got in to it with the fans at tonights game (that's right, i scored a ticket to the last game at the dome... kinda funny) - i've had it with the "happy to be there" attitude of the Twins and their fans... they are on pace to waste the best pure ballplayer of a generation on limp-dicking to the LDS and getting housed by a team that actually spends money.
Next year they are opening up a palace of a ballpark, with more revenue streams than you can imagine, their owner has MORE money than Steinbrenner to boot. The time for excuses is over, they need to put some serious talent around Mauer and Morneau, or lose them to a team that will... and if they go, and I have to believe they will go together - my loyalty will go with them. i'm a lifelong Twins fan, I risked my career to lobby for their ballpark... but if they fail to get serious, as they pledged they would do, about not just winning division titles, but winning World Series... then I'm done... as sad as that makes me to say...
