ESPN Suspends The Sports Guy

ESPN has suspended Bill Simmons for two weeks because of remarks he made on his twitter account about WEEI in Boston. WEEI became a ESPNRadio affiliate last month and as part of the deal ESPN talent would be made available to appear on WEEI shows. WEEI broadcasts ESPNRadio overnight but continues with its original content during the day.
Simmons canceled an appearance on WEEi recently. In response to something WEEI said Simmons responded on his twitter account "Hey WEEI: You were wrong, I did a Boston interview today. With your competition. Rather give them ratings over deceitful scumbags like you."
The competition Simmons referenced is The Sports Hub 98.5, a new station that launched over the summer and has made dents into WEEI's ratings.
