I don't know the years, but last year he rejected $18 mil per from the rockies. Remember, his agent is Boras.

No fucking WAY he's worth that. If he is, then Pujols is worth $30 mil a year.

Cards have raised their offer already. Boras has succeeded in getting them to bid against themselves.

:ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

So this is what 25 HR's and 100 RBI's gets you now? :ohno: :ohno:

My 15 year old son is headed back to the batting cages as we speak.

pair those power numbers with a BA over .350 and yes, Virginia, you have a special player

Is he worth what they'll end up paying for him, absofuckinloutely not, but the market is what it is

how many MLB players are going to go .350+, 25+, and 100+? That's a pretty small club.

Matt Holiday's CAREER Batting Average numbers:

2004: .290
2005: .307
2006: .326
2007: .340 (36 HR's, 137 RBI)
2008: .321
2009: .313

Holiday hasn't come CLOSE to repeating his 2007 season, before OR since. He's a 30/112/.310 guy.

THAT ain't worth $18 mil a year.
