It would be interesting to see a breakdown comparing how much time during an NFL game broadcast is spent showing actual football, compared to the time spent in commercial.

I was watching a movie last night, and occasionally flipping over to see how the Minnesota/Carolina game was going. but at least 75% of the times I'd flip over to it, they'd be on commercial.

I'd be willing to guess that the amount of commercial time varies depending on what time the game is being played. Sunday Night Football probably has more commercials than the other time slots.

CBS is the worst.

Is it really necessary to go to a commericalbetween the PAT and the Kickoff and then again between the kickoff and the first offensive play?
