What a maroon. And Happy Birthday to you Gil!

I don't watch NBA, but this has been all over the local news recently.

Doesn't surprise me at all. It also doesn't surprise me no one's calling for Crittenton in all off this either. Guess it's better to be injured and out of the public eye

So I guess I got to see Gilbert's last home game...and maybe his last game...in a Wizards uni...

A true idiot, especially with the picture from last night's game in Philly...

A picture the NBA had pulled from the photo service that distributes them... :ohno:

And the other players around him acting like it is just a big joke and playing along. Fucker needs to go to jail, he broke the law.

You want Crittenton to get suspended for having a gun pulled on him? :?

I heard he pulled a gun too. At least that's what they said on Mike and Mike.

Arenas was sentenced earlier, and was given 18 months in jail (judge suspended it), 30 days in a halfway house, beginning two years of probation, a $5,000 fine, and 400 hours of community service.

Since there is no jail time, and Leonsis just bought the Wizards, what happens next? No other team will trade for that contract and I'm not sure if his contract can even be terminated (moral turpitude clause?).

That's a lot of details for a guy to keep track of, particularly a guy in the line of work Arenas is in. For his sake, I hope DC has the same policy a certain Bay Area county is reportedly going to: certain parolees are authorized to muster with a CLERK over the phone because their parole officer staff was reduced to TWO in budget cuts. That's about the only way Arenas is going to be able to go on road trips with the Bullets. It'll be an even bigger nightmare if he's traded, gets cut, or is otherwise picked up as a free agent.

So we're keeping Arenas.....now we just need a true point guard, power forward, small forward, and center.

And Andre frickin Blatche doesn't count
