Nightmare match up for D1B.

28-14, 6 minutes and change left in the 2nd quarter. :o :o

most definitely.
the lack of D sucks almost as much as the overabundance of turnovers.

Does Kurt announce his retirement tonight, or does he wait until later this week?

About time for the Cards to pull a little somethin', somethin' from the Griz play book from last season...then go on to lose the Super Bowl!??! :coffee:

Yep, historically bad defensive "performance" from the Cards this post season.

My money is on him retiring.
(not ACTUAL money, as I don't wager. But I really don't think he's coming back next year)

How ironic it is that a team that made what reputation it had for almost thirty years on outstanding defense and zero offense had such a lack of BOTH. I'm shocked at how badly the loss of Rogers-Cromartie hurt them after all the penalties he's picked up in the last month.

Personally, I think Warner will come back next year, but as Bradshaw mentioned in his interview wrap-up, Warner will have PLENTY to do if he does retire. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Whisenhunt asked Warner to join his staff, perhaps even as QBs coach.

Would be interesting if Warner did retire and joins the staff as a QB coach or something (I don't see him going into coaching, but who knows. but for the sake of the hypothetical here...). And then as the season progresses, and AZ struggles with Leinart and whatever other QB they bring in to replace Warner. So Kurt decides to quit his coaching job and sign a contract with the team to come back and play.

That would be funny.
