Just a beautiful day in New Orleans...okay, a bit cloudy, but those clouds are expected to go east in a few hours...
The Saints pre-game show(s) have started on television and radio. Just got back from breakfast at a local establishment and everyone was wearing Saints black and gold.
This is an exciting time to live in New Orleans!
Here's a few
Who Dat? songs to pass your time before the game.
Texans fan first and foremost, but loving New Orleans and rooting for the Saints!

Surely not pulling for the Saints, I'll leave that to the rest of my family.

And I'm not pulling for the Vikes either.

What a game! Two turnovers with a minute to go in the first half!

one thing I don't understand:
the Saints had the ball with a 4th and 1, and the playclock runs down to 0 for a delay of game penalty with 2:0something left in the first half. But then after the penalty, the officials start the game clock, which ticks down to the 2:00 warning.
Does the playclock always restart after a delay of game penalty (assuming the clock was running prior to the penalty)? Or does that only happen outside of 2 minutes (in the half/game)?

This "protect the QB" crap is flat out dumb. If that old fart wants to play, then he needs to get a set and take a hit. Otherwise, go home.

I agree. He gets special treatment because he's a legend and his age. He got hit right as the ball was released... the defender had every right to take him to the ground on that one.

peterson has made up for the fumbles with two touchdowns after the fumbles.
