I believe he will play for whoever only needs a decent qb to threaten for the super bowl.

But only after he officially rereretires, is brought up 100,000 times on Sports Center, and training camp is over. Then he'll rerereunretire. :thumb:

The Packers for 1 day then officially retire for good. Then after his HOF induction he will play for the Lions for 1 year and the Bears the year after to make sure he gets back at the Packers

Well if the Skins do the wrong thing a take a QB in this years draft, I wouldn't be opposed to having a year with Favre.

I hear an interview with Warren Moon yesterday. He was talking about longevity in the NFL and how he managed to play until he was 44. He said "I think if I had of taken things the way Brett has, I could have played til I was 50. Brett was smart, he didn't have to attend off season work outs and preseason training camps. Those really take a toll on your body as you get older, Brett however, has found a way around that."

Even though he plays for the bad guys, I'm glad he's playing. I think of him, Emmit, Rice as people that should play until no one wants them, to see how far they can take their, QB, RB, WR records making it hard for anyone to break.

That, and while everyone else is working out, he can sit at home and :jack: everytime his name is brought up on SC, PTI, Mike and Mike, Around the Horn. Double the pleasure, double the fun.

Well Favre can give up now because Peyton Manning will break them easily.

I think that's why Favre is playing so long. To hold off Peyton a little longer. Hoping Manning will be a family man and retire at 36ish. As long as Manning doesn't get hurt and plays to 38 He should get most of the records except INTs and consecutive games played. It will take Manning another year of playing to beat the games played.

Manning could easily play till he's 40 or older... he hardly ever gets sacked because he's so good at reading defenses and drawing off blitzes or getting the ball immediately.

I expect Favre to retire just long enough to miss all of the offseason and most of the preseason workouts and then unretire in time to play for the Vikes again.

he better tell the Vikes that because they will try and trade for McNabb before the draft if they think Burt is retiring.
