Why would some teams wait until the 21st? Why wouldn't they want to get in as much practice as possible?

Because they are the Nationals and they are already out of post season contention.

I like baseball so much more than any other sport, I even enjoy watching a team like the Nationals...........from time to time.

Nats are going to surprise a bunch of people this year. A lot of really good young talent on the roster.
