My favorite punt returner (alas, she's retired and coaching this year) just posted a link on Facebook to something about former Redskin Darrel Green, who just ran a 4.43 40 on his 50th birthday.
How the heck is a guy THAT fast not still playing?!? He gave my Cowboys fits. Knowing the state of the current Cowboys, he could be the difference between blah and the division title for the 'Skins.

Big difference between running a few seconds in a straight line and playing a full season in the NFL. The man had a long, successful career.

DG was probably the fastest football player ever. He was winning NFL fastest man in his 40's.

4.43 is slow for DG. He was running 4.18's in his prime.
How many undersized CBs in the league are running 4.4s?

Ejaculations for one. Takes about fourty minutes of sawing away to get the grease these days, usta be able to do it in less than two If I was in a hurry in the olden days.
