I guess he's never heard of Dan Jansen, Eric Heiden, and Bonnie Blair? Those are three of the best speedskaters who ever lived. They were AMERICAN, and all three would probably whip his tail RIGHT NOW.

Karma just bit Kramer in the butt, he cruised to what was thought to be a gold medal in the men's speed skating 10k but was disqualified for finishing in the wrong lane.

My Dutch coworker is livid. He closed himself off in his office and locked the door so that no one would bother him (or see that he wasn't actually doing work) while the race was on. He came out after the race cursing in Dutch, luckily I've figured out what all the curse words are in Dutch so I know what he thinks about Kramer now.

To be fair, this was his coach's fault. He was in the right lane and his coach screamed at him to get to the inside lane before the turn (he was probably 20 -30 feet before the turn at the most when this happend).

While he should maybe have known better, his coach was so emphatic and you have to put some trust in your coach so he moved inside as quickly as he could. Bet he starts looking for a new coach before the week is out.

I didn't read this thread until now, but I remember it being up earlier in the week. I wondered how the hell did UNH know that this guy was gonna end up being stupid 5 days ahead of time. Well make that 2 times

UNH probably didn't "know" that Kramer would fall on his sword. But the over-the-top way in which Kramer was making an @$$ of himself at least indicated that there was a fairly good chance that he would get his comeuppance sometime VERY soon. And that it did.
