Depends. If we're talking about the UOP Tigers, heck yeah. If we're talking about the Detroit Tigers, the LSU Tigers, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, or Tiger Woods (probably what you're aiming for), then who gives a rip? I've never liked Detroit, LSU, or Woods, even before the scandal. This bogus news confernece is just a waste of airtime that would have been better filled with '80s era WCCW repeats from the Dallas Sportatorium (which used to show up on ESPN at noon in Cali, BTW). Watching the Von Erichs battle it out with General Skandor Akbar was MUCH more fun than yet another dose of a bloody golfer.

I am curious, without a doubt (as is everyone else, whether you admit it or not 8-) ). He is Tiger Woods after all; everyone knows who he is and what he has done both on the course and off. So it is only natural to be curious to see what happens next. Now, does anything that is going on really going to efffect my life? No, not in the slightest. He is a golf player to me, nothing more, nothing less. But I'm still curious and kind of fascinated by the extremity of it all.

I heard he wiped a tear as he was going behind the Blue curtain afterward but I didn't watch it myself. You may want to verify and get your money back.

No, I couldn't give a shit one way or the other on it.

I don't care about his apologies or that stuff. That's between him and his family and friends. The only thing he needs to apologize to me for is why he's probably going to miss the Masters.

I said this a while back but this is exactly what he needs to do. He needs to stay out long enough that everybody that does care about this kind of shit and are clamoring for answers that they are not entitled to have changed their stance to "Fuck, I just wish the guy would play cuz that's all I really care about." If he stays out until real late in the season and then comes back it will probably be best for him. He ain't gonna play in the Masters and that in itself is gonna turn a major portion of the "we want to know when, where, & how many times you stuck your dick in this chick" crowd into the villains.

Exactly. The bottom line is that golf needs him more than he needs golf.

I've been telling AZ to stop eating those for years now cuz I didn't believe it either. The way he fills those things with Bud Light and squirts it into his mouth is kinda unnerving also. :ohno:

Apology accepted, Tiger!

I would have liked it a lot better if he would have said, "to all the golfer's I play against, "you're welcome!"...now, you might have a chance to win a few tournaments while I'm getting my personal life together."

After the apology, it was reported that on Twitter, John Daly said "where's your wedding ring, Tiger?"

A bit cold, but a pretty good question none the less.

I did hear it on a radio show today that was making fun of it while it played so that made it enjoyable to listen to.

Lost respect for him though caving to give this apology to people in his personal life via a news conference. What a groveling pussy.

If he wanted to continue being a spokesman and make money from endorsements I think he had to apologize. When you become a pitchman I think you forfeit some of your personal life.

I think it would great if Tiger refused to apologize and instead just play golf. He probably has enough money to do so, but he might not want to lose the endorsement revenue just yet, especially if Elin leaves him and takes a lot of his money with her.

Well maybe but I'm not so sure about the spokesman angle. If he comes out and apologizes even a little bit for the fans then they think they deserve something and will continue to expect his contrition going forward. If he just stays out of the public and makes people want him to come back and play and he does well then the sponsors are gonna come after him no matter what for endorsements.

I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that felt they were slighted by him and they need to be apologized to because of what they had built him up to be in their heads but to me he is a golfer and I never thought anything about him being a family man unless they were shown after he won a touney. I suppose there are a lot of people that don't think like I do though. :)
