Hope it happens, but they need to make it 8 teams to have a real playoff system. 4 is better than 2

Agree 100%, hopefully it's the springboard to a truer playoff.

The Pac-10 will never be on board with this.
"Our presidents have no interest whatsoever in a plus-one model -- none," [Pac-10 Commissioner Tom] Hansen says. "It's a little annoying that my colleagues continue to float this idea as though it has merit. If they continue to push it, and try to push us into a corner ... " Will the Pac-10 walk away from the BCS? "Yes, no question."

The Pac10 presidents have always wanted the Rose Bowl to be a Big Ten/Pac 10 event. Even after the Penn State debacle in '94 which cost Penn State a national championship game with Nebraska, I think a lot of Big Ten presidents agree with their Pacific coast colleagues.
