In 2000. They have struck all her results from the 2000 Sydney games by the International Gymnastics Federation. Results of their investigation will be forwarded to the IOC who will decide whether to strip China's bronze medal.

The United States finished 4th in 2000.

At this rate we can expect rulings on the 2008 team by around 2018

This is great news. The IOC needs to clamp down on this Chinese BS. If you'll recall, in 2008, it was brought to IOC's attention that the Chinese government had attempted to erase websites from previous years that showed their 2008 women gymnasts as underage. IOC started a dog and pony investigation and closed it a day or two later. I suppose it went something like this:

IOC: Hell, China?
Chinese Gov Official: Yes.
IOC: Are your gymnasts 18?
Chinese Gov Official: Of course.
IOC: K bye

What a jackass. She was of proper age to compete, which was the topic of discussion. Who cares if she was underage for other stuff, she wasn't drinking, voting or driving, she was gymnasticking .

I think I just made that word up, but I like it so I'm gonna use it.
