Where'd All The Newspapers Go?

If you were on the campus of Texas A&M-Commerce last week looking for a copy of the student newspaper, well, no soup for you. It seems that members of the football team stole them all. Look at this sad, empty news rack. The ones on the bottom are a week old! (Cries). The thefts occurred because the jocks didn't like what the nerds wrote about them in the lead article: Detailing the arrest of two A&M-Commerce football players arrested in a drug bust. It's a logical thing: If you don't like what's written about you, steal all copies of the paper. But here's the best part: When asked about the thefts, A&M-Commerce head football coach Sam Morriss said:
"I am proud of my players for doing that. This was the best team building exercise we have ever done."
Now we have a controversy, folks.

That coach needs to be fired - sounds like he was in charge of it.

Sounds like the AD made that conclusion too.
Cooper said he did not think the players involved could have planned the theft.
"I don't think they are smart enough to do this on their own," Cooper said.

So, how do you cover up a crime?
Commit another crime.
What a viscious circle....

Classic! It is just a shame that they let someone see them do it, or someone let it slip that they were the ones stealing the papers.

How much do they normally charge for a copy of that paper?
Make the football team pay that amount for each copy that they took.

good to know. I wasn't aware of the 25¢ clause. Then it really is theft, in addition to being an inconsiderate jackarse by taking more than your share (not YOU, you. but you know what I mean).

I thought it was free too and had this long funny post about how you can't steal something that someone is giving away..............................and then I read the article.
