National Lacrosse League. Anybody ever go to one of their games? I went to a Boston Blazers game last week. One of the most exciting and hard hitting sports events I've ever attended and talk about fast. I'm looking forward to going back next week.
This wasn't the exact game I was at but it is a pretty good example of what I saw.

Are they any relation to the MILL?

They're the same thing, the MILL was renamed the NLL years ago. You're right, it's a great game if you've never seen it. Part of my job working for Comcast Spectacor for years was working with the Philadelphia Wings. Got to meet the Gait brothers, and many great players.
Indoor Lacrosse, it's worth the price of admission.

Albany used to have a team. Fun times. Fast, hard hitting action.
I always wondered why they put the indoor goalies in field hockey equipment, but yet the outdoor goalies don't wear anything.

I tried out for goalie once. Then I got whacked right in the shin by a shot from one of our all-regioners. That hurt like a bitch. I immediately went back to playing attack, where at least I had pads to protect myself from the brutes on D.

I was a Philly Wing's season ticket holder for a few years - was always a fun time. Great game to watch.

You can always tell the guys who played football from the ones who didn't.
I played crease defense in HS. Surprisingly, the ball doesn't really hurt when you get whipped with it. And I got whipped with it alot. Leaves a mother of a bruise though.
DF, is the ball different in box lax? I always thought the goalies wore all that padding to block more of the net.
