Jets To Host On Thanksgiving; Pats at Detroit

The fact that the Jets will be hosting a Thanksgiving night game means that the Patriots will be traveling to Detroit earlier in the day. Because CBS will be televising the game hosted by the Lions, the road team must be from the AFC, and the only AFC teams playing in Ford Field this season will be the Pats and the Jets.
For the late-afternoon game, the Cowboys will be hosting one of the NFC teams on their schedule -- the Eagles, Redskins, Giants, Bears, or the Saints. (The Lions are the sixth NFC team who'll play in Cowboys Stadium.) Though Saints-Cowboys is the obvious choice, history tells us that the NFL rarely wastes a great game on the captive audience that comes with Thanksgiving Day.

I wish the NFC would get with CBS. I love the NFC, but can't stand watching Fox broadcasts. I like their pregame show better, but when it comes to the broadcast I'll take CBS. The picture is better, and the announcers, while not amazing, are better than listening to Troy Fucking Aikman and Joe Buck

Glad I won't be able to watch the late game again because of the NFL network being a bunch of fucks.

um....channelsurfing.net. Unlike the fuckers at MLB the NFL doesn't make streaming games online illegal.....yet, although I'm sure it's coming.
Baseball pisses me off. I'm apparently in the Chicago area, so I get to see the Cubs and White Sox all fucking summer, and I hate both of them. The only time I see the twins is the White Sox games or when ESPN picks one of their games up (seemingly never).

Strange - I'm a diehard Eagles fan and I despised Aikman when he played, but he's been nothing short of spectacular as a color guy on TV - I think he's the best in the business. I agree that Joe Buck isn't worth listenting to, but Aikman's been a great analyst.

I despise the Cowboys, but I agree that Aikman does a great job.

Yeah as if every Red Sox Yankees game isn't splashed everywhere. Oh the greatest rivalry ever...
GannonFan, I agree completely, only as a Redskins fan.

Speaking of analysts, the trend for years has been to hire former jocks as the color guy and somebody else for PxP. I can't remember a single guy since Summerall (well, maybe Gifford for a while) who played in the NFL and did PxP. Anyone else know of others?

I'll have to be on the lookout for that, ASUG8. I remember Fouts as a color guy, but if he's doing PxP, I think he'd be a good one.
