When I was filming the football team at San Joaquin Delta College (the JC down the street from UOP), we were blowing out Contra Costa College when they made massive personnel changes late. I found out that while we were totally murdering them, they put in a female linebacker who proceeded to run her mouth. Normally, I love girl football players, particularly those brave enough to play against guys, but I don't care WHAT gender you are, you just don't run your mouth when you're on the wrong end of a blowout, particularly when you're the road team.
Idiot!!!

I remember back when I was in third grade and my team won a game of kickball during recess. This kid on the losing team strarted talking trash. What an idiot.
Or the time in second grade when I did my multiplication tables twice as fast a Howie Schwartz. He started talking trash, only the joke was on him. He couldn't multiply so he didn't know that I was twice as fast.

Now there's the big difference between the Yanks and the Soxs.
The Yankees would have a commercial about their players, their heritage and their success. The Sox have a commercial about how much they hate the Yankees.
It's an inferiority complex. Now I'm not a Yankees fan, but it's true. Look at Western Carolina and App St. They hate us, we think they're annoying. We promote our success, heritage and players. They promote how much they hate us.
Funny thing about that commercial is that the Yankees merch gets more air time than any Sox merch.

This is so true.
And when a Yankee sponsor does do Yankee/Sox fan commercial, the Yankees don't feel the need to depict the opposing Sox fan as an obnoxious jerkoff.
This is one of my all time fav Red Sox/Yankee commercials

Prime example of this for me, I remember a few years back when I flew down to Phoenix for the Minnesota/Arizona game. This was back when the Cardinals were not good (came into the game 4-11). The Vikings needed a win against the Cardinals or a loss by Green Bay to make it to the playoffs. All of us Vikings fans felt the game was in the bag, particularly when we were up eleven with two minutes left. All during the game, we all were giving it to the Cardinal fans pretty good (even though the game was in Phoenix, the crowd was probably 60-40 in favor of the Vikings). Also, the scoreboard showed that Green Bay was losing big so we felt pretty sure of ourselves. Well, the lowly (at the time) Cardinals scored a touchdown and a two point conversion with a minute and a half left. Big deal, the game was won. Well, the Cardinals recovered an onside kick, then threw a hail mary touchdown on fourth and forever to steal the game from us. All of us Vikings fans who were giving it to the Cardinals had to sit there and listen to the Cardinal fans give it back to us, especially because the final touchdown had to be reviewed. That is where I learned never to talk it up when you are in enemy territory.
Add insult to injury, Farve led Green Bay to a miraculous comeback in their game, causing us to miss the playoffs altogether. What a bummer.

Heres another cute commercial from ESPN
Clay Buchholz and some actor are singing Sweet Caroline on a couch watching tv. They then try to toss off to Nick Swisher who says no way dude.
